Catalog and inventory

Pro 1.4.3

Stock sources

Pro supports supplier stock, stock per role, and Available-to-Promise (ATP) inventory. A product must have one authoritative stock source: WooCommerce native stock, HPB2B supplier stock, authoritative ATP, or unmanaged. Do not add quantities from more than one authority when calculating what can be sold.

Before importing ATP balances or inbound supply for a product, deliberately migrate it from native or supplier stock. The ATP service refuses conflicting authoritative records. Check variable products and every variation individually, then test availability in catalog, Store API, cart and order reservation flows.

Suppliers and operations

Use supplier records and product assignments to support supplier-aware stock and promotion rules. Set role stock and shop stock only where the store’s fulfillment model needs them. After stock changes, verify the product status and checkout eligibility for each buyer role, including cached pages.

Catalog automation

Product helpers and scheduled catalog jobs can change many products. Keep the selected scope narrow, test on staging, and review a sample of simple products and variations. New installations leave catalog drafting and scheduled price rewrites disabled until explicitly enabled.

Pro 1.4.2+ has opt-in AI product enrichment under HPB2B → AI products. Search by SKU or barcode, review source-backed suggestions, export a CSV, and apply only selected fields. Automatic enrichment processes one product at a time with a catalog cursor, daily request cap and refresh interval. Image import is separately opt-in and validated. See AI and integrations.
